CYNTHIA ENGLISH & TUCKER KNOX

Here’s Cynthia and Tucker’s beautiful engagement story, told by Cynthia, along with a gorgeous engagement session at McGill Rose Garden.
Tucker and I met when I was a cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers. I became best friends with another cheerleader who happened to be the wife of Tucker’s best friend. For our first date, he took me to Alexander Michael’s, a small restaurant in Charlotte’s Fourth Ward neighborhood. We loved it and have always thought of it as “our place.”
Then, last November, Tucker took me back to Al Mike’s for what seemed to be just another nice date. But in the middle of the street, with Charlotte’s skyline in the background, Tucker got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Luckily, I had gone with my girls to get a manicure after leaving school, where I’m a high school biology teacher.
I, of course, said “yes,” and we were then able to have our first date as an engaged couple—at the same restaurant where it all began.
Cynthia & Tucker were married December 31, 2016.
