Hair and make-up trends for spring and summer 2017 are all about effortlessly chic looks—with a twist, says wardrobe stylist and fashion insider Stacee Michelle, who attended New York Fashion Week as a correspondent for E! News.

Every season designers give us an exclusive snapshot of the fashion trends for the season and a guide on how to complement the looks with hair and make-up.

Below, Michelle shares seven wearable hair and make-up trends perfect for the brides-to-be—whether they’re planning their Big Day look or just want something fresh for the many pre-wedding festivities.

TREND 1: Half & half
Straight slick back or romantic waves, all you need is a few bobby pins to make this look work for you. Get the textured Zac Posen look with MoroccanOil Dry Texture Spray.

TREND 2: Slick & go
Who knew a straight from the shower look could become a thing? Take advantage of this season’s trend and save yourself 30 minutes of prep time. Accomplish the wet-hair-don’t-care look from Thankoon with Kepastase Creme de la Creme blow dry cream.

 TREND 3: Embellished hair
At NYFW, models traded in hair ties for belts at Tibi, were adorned in tulle frills at Rodarte, and embraced embellished hair clips at Marchesa. I see a DIY in the near future!

TREND 4: Hot cross buns
Twist it, braid it, loop it and bun it, four easy steps to getting one to the hottest hairstyles to hit the runway. Hold it all together with TRESemme TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray.

TREND 5: Red lip

Bold and beautiful! Find your shade of red and rock it this spring. Let your lips liven up any outfit. Get the Jason Wu Lip with Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid Color.

TREND 6: Barefaced beauty
Alicia Keys wasn’t the only one advocating the no-make-up trend. Natural-beauty looks were all over the runways. Rrefreshing and empowering to see.

TREND 7: Bright eyes
Colored eyeshadow was all over the runway. Put away those dark shadow pallets for daytime and embrace the pink smokey eye. To get the look, do what Marc Jacobs did: use NARS Dual-Intensity Eye Shadow.
